MCP server — drive squirrelscan from your agent
squirrel mcp starts a local MCP server so Claude Code, Cursor, and other MCP clients can run audits, read reports, browse issues, and comment on them directly. Local audits stay free; cloud tools use your account when signed in.
--max-depth for squirrel audit
Limit how far from the start page the crawler follows links — e.g. --max-depth 1 audits the homepage and the pages it links to, and no deeper. Default stays unlimited.
Per-website crawl settings (dashboard)
Under Settings → Crawl you can now override the depth preset per site — custom max pages, crawl depth, render mode, and coverage. Applies to scheduled and initial audits, clamped to your plan limits.
Audit source badges (dashboard)
Each audit now shows whether it ran from the CLI, the cloud, or a schedule.
Improvements
- Faster crawls — higher default per-host concurrency with smarter request pacing, so larger audits finish quicker. robots.txt
Crawl-delayis still respected. - More accurate site names — sites now use their real page title instead of a generated summary.
- Performance & reliability — faster audit processing and a range of crawler and engine reliability fixes.
