v0.0.103
Released Oct 5, 2026
Release Notes
Two rule fixes from community bug reports: fewer false accessibility warnings on honeypot and hidden fields, and noindex set by a response header now shows up in the report.
Fixed
a11y/aria-hidden-focusno longer reports elements a keyboard user cannot reach. Inside anaria-hiddenregion, an element withtabindex="-1", a disabled form control, a hidden input, and anything under aninertorhiddenelement now count as not focusable, matching axe-core. Honeypot spam fields from form builders were the usual false positive, on every page that had the form. A link or button you can still Tab to insidearia-hiddenis reported as before. Thanks to @deniskern for the report (#456).core/robots-metanow reportsnoindexandnofollowsent in theX-Robots-Tagresponse header, including the crawler-scoped form (X-Robots-Tag: googlebot: noindex). Before, a page kept out of search only by the header appeared nowhere in the report. Each message now names its source, so a directive set by a CDN or server config is easy to tell from one in the page source; existing robots meta tag messages end with "via robots meta tag". Thanks to @deniskern for the report (#457).
